Venezuelan-born singer-songwriter Elena Rose has officially launched her first full-length studio album, “Bendito Verano,” marking a pivotal moment in her artistic trajectory. Having already made her mark as a prolific songwriter for major Latin-music stars, Rose now steps into the spotlight as a solo artist, delivering a project infused with vulnerability, self-discovery, and sonic evolution.
The album arrives on the heels of her highly regarded 2024 EP “En Las Nubes – Con Mis Panas.” With Bendito Verano, Rose embraces both the intimacy of personal reflection and the expansiveness of global sound, creating a body of work that blends pop, afrobeat rhythms and tropical textures. “A question I asked myself: what would a summer party in heaven sound like? And then it became a path of gratitude for being alive down here,” she shared about her creative process.

Rose designed the album to be for anyone who has loved, been loved or simply wants to love. Its 10 to 12 tracks showcase her artistic breadth—featuring collaborations with Justin Quilés (“Cosita Linda”), Young Miko (“Gyoza”), Eladio Carrión (on “Roulin”), Rawayana (“Luna de Miel”), and more. These strategic partnerships reflect her transition from behind-the-scenes composer to front-and-center performer, while remaining rooted in authenticity and emotional connection.
One of the standout songs, “Luna de Miel,” is described by Rose as the album’s ‘wedding song’, a celebration of true love and weddings everywhere. Its refrain touches on themes of commitment and enchantment, inviting listeners to share in that joy. “I cried so much writing this,” Rose revealed. “Because I believe in love that lasts forever. In every form of it.” Another highlight, “¡Aleluya!”, emerged after years of gestation and internal contemplation—a self-love anthem Rose says came to life when she felt ready: “It’s like my conscience speaking about the type of love you can only feel for yourself.”
The album’s launch event in Mexico City drew industry executives, fans and media alike, and brought to life Rose’s vision of freedom, connection and light. There she emphasized the importance of surrounding herself with collaborators who understood her mission, rather than simply chasing trends. Despite the absence of her viral 2024 hit “Me Lo Merezco” from the track-list, the spirit of that breakthrough song remains as a compass guiding this new chapter.

Beyond the studio, 2025 has been an exceptional year for Rose. She became the face of Adidas, sold out venues on her European Alma Tour and announced her first U.S. tour—set to begin in late November. On the awards front, she secured four Latin Grammy nominations across major categories, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year as a songwriter. The momentum surrounding Bendito Verano positions her as one of Latin music’s most compelling new voices.
Through this debut, Elena Rose reveals how music can be therapy, celebration and invitation all at once. With every chord and lyric, she calls on listeners to dance, heal and love bravely.
